Activities
Children learn best when they are provided with opportunities to experiment with their environment through hands-on activities. We are intentional about providing age and developmentally appropriate activities that are fun and educational. See some additional activities we provide and why they are important.
Art
Providing opportunities to get our student's creative flow moving. Students experience different textures and use different materials to create. Art is also a great creative outlet for kids to help express their emotions and ideas.
Dramatic Play
Dramatic Play encourages creativity and self-expression. Students will have opportunities to learn more about their local community, careers, and other countries, cultures, and customs.
Literacy
Students are provided with quiet space to practice their reading, writing, and comprehension skills. They are encouraged to express ideas, explore new interests, and learn more about the world around them. These skills will follow them in school and in life.
Music and Movement
Students are provided with opportunities to experiment with sound and music. These opportunities encourage students to be physically active, promote self-expression, fosters creativity, and help students to relax. Students learn basic beginning music concepts.
